Just inside Kenton County’s southwest border, you’ll discover Ed-Mar Dairy, owned and operated by Eddie and Marcy Gibson. The Gibson family has been producing wholesome milk for three generations. In 2013 cheese making was added. Group Tours were introduced in 2018. This year we welcome you to tour our new wedding & event barn, built mainly from salvaged materials of a barn, over 100 years old, from Eddie’s childhood farm. Now booking!
A herd of 55 cows produce Ed-Mar Dairy’s milk and raw milk cheeses. Our cheeses are hand-crafted using simple ingredients and can be found in area restaurants, markets and wineries. The state’s first robotic milking machine lives at Ed-Mar Dairy, allowing the cows to milk whenever they choose.
Visit us to tour the dairy, meet our cows, watch the robot at work, purchase delicious cheeses, hand crank ice cream, take a hayride, purchase goods from Ed-Mar friends and tour our new wedding and event barn. Profits and donations from Ed-Mar Dairy’s Kenton County Farm Tour Day will be donated to Fairhaven Rescue Mission in Covington, Ky. Fairhaven provides programs and services supporting physical, spiritual and emotional needs of local, homeless and hurting men, women and children.
