All of the participating farms on the Kenton County Farm Tour want you to have FUN! while visiting us! Here is some simple tips and guidelines to help make your visit to all the farms more enjoyable!
While On The Farm...
NO PETS! Please leave Fido at home. Our farm animals do not like your dog.
Park only in designated areas and do not block lanes of travel.
Be careful of barbed wire & electric fencing.
Do not climb over or open any gate. This is for your protection.
Do not feed animals without permission.
Do not chase any animal (including chickens!) It stresses them out. You are a guest in their home.
Please watch your children. Many of our farms are only open to the public only for Farm Tour.
Dispose of your garbage properly.
Preparing for your Tour!
Bring cash!! Many farms and visiting vendors will have items for sale.
Bring coolers to keep your perishable purchases fresh.
Wear sensible shoes.
Dress appropriately for the weather.
Leave your farmer stereotypes at home. Many of our farms are owned and operated by women and young couples.
