The Morning View Heritage Area (MVHA) is a nature preserve managed by the Kenton County Conservation District that is located on what was formerly known as the Steinhauser Farm. It is one of approximately 100 sites across the Commonwealth that are being restored through the Kentucky Heritage Land Preservation Fund to protect native species of plants and wildlife. The land was formerly home to John and Matilda Steinhauser, and six generations of their descendants. In the 154 years that the Steinhausers were living on the land, they made many contributions to the local community. They ran a dairy farm as well as a store on their property. The historic dairy barn still stands on the site today.
